How to Use WhatsApp Web for Desktop: Review
We all know that the desktop version of WhatsApp has been launched. Many people were happy to know about this feature. There are around 700 million active users on WhatsApp mobile. Now, as the desktop version has launched, how many will be active on the desktop as compare to mobile version. Well, we will know this soon. The WhatsApp Web feature is now active and can be accessible from the mobile. The option is available in the Option menu. But yes, anything you update on or from your mobile, it is instantly reflected on the WhatsApp Web.
I tried this feature on my laptop and i was that much satisfied. Well, you can have some other views. if yes, please do share it in comment. I would like tell you my experience about this version. Below are the steps that you need to perform to start the desktop version and then i have mentioned some of my views.
How to start using WhatsApp Web using mobile:
1. Assuming you have updated the WhatsApp to the latest version.
2. Run you WhatsApp on the mobile and click on the option button, you will an option "WhatsApp Web".
Note: If you don't see this option, you need to update your WhatsApp.
3. When you click on the WhatsApp Web option, you will see an instruction screen, click on Ok, Got it and it will start the QR Code camera.
4. Now point your phone to the QR code you see on https://web.whatsapp.com in your Google Chrome browser.

There are also many other options that you can try similar to WhatsApp mobile. Some of the features are as below:
1. Click on your profile photo to see your status and other details.
2. You can access the Settings options, which consists of Profile & Status, Notification, Help and Logout.
4. Good thing that it support other fonts then English.
Once you get connected, and then directly close your browser, without Logout, you can directly As the limitations says, I was not able to create or delete any other group. If i close my data connection, the Not connected message appears below your profile photo. Even after logging and being active you are facing the connection issue, you can Logout and try again.
In the Attachment option you can attach files from your pc and can take pictures from your webcam or laptop camera.
Conclusion:
Look, the feature is good but you cannot always keep your mobile active and also not possible to be always connected to internet, if is no range issues. You always have to be connected, so why not remain connected on mobile. The only advantage you get is you dnt have to open your WhatsApp again and again to read the messages, your desktop notification can take care of it. But again you need to be actively connected. Secondly, not able to create or delete any group.
If you are an Admin of some group, you are still not able to edit the photo or status. Actually you are also not able to edit your own profile pic or status. isn't that great! Unlike in WhatsApp you cannot access the Privacy option. You have to set all your settings from mobile and then it will be reflected on your WhatsApp Web. The images and videos are automatically downloaded. Even if you have set the option of Media Auto-Download from your mobile, the WhatsApp Web downloads all the media.
You cannot copy or paste any message from one to other. Also you are not able to forward any image. If you click on of the image, you get an option to download it and view previous images in that group.
There are many things that i don't like in this Web version. But i will suggest you to try it and will like to know your comment in my comment section. If i am missing something in this please feel free to let know in comment.
Cheers!!!
