Lenovo Launches A6000 Smartphone with 4G at Rs. 6999
Lenovo has came up with new smartphone A6000 with 4G LTE. It seems that this is a good competition for smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Micromax's YU Yureka smartphones. Just to let you know that this is the cheapest phone in the smartphone market with 4G LTE at the price of Rs. 6999. Also aping the online-only flash sale model, the smartphone goes up for sale at 2pm IST on January 28.
Registrations will commence on January 16 at 6pm and will end on January 27 at 6pm. Registered users will be able to buy the phone on January 28 at 2pm. The phone was earlier unveiled during CES 2015 at Las Vegas, USA. Talking about the phone, Lenovo A6000 sports a 5-inch IPS HD (720x1920p) display.
The A6000 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone runs Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top, and bears 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expandability. An Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been promised, but no time frame announced.
A6000 sports 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera. Featuring a 2300mAh battery, the phone has two speakers and Dolby Digital Plus sound. The dual sim phone supports 4G LTE connectivity with support for both FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) in addition to other popular connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G.
