Lets see how this works:

1. To connect your web browser to your WhatsApp client, simply open https://web.whatsapp.com in your Google Chrome browser.

2. You will see a QR code --- scan the code inside of WhatsApp, and you’re ready to go.

3. You have now paired WhatsApp on your phone with the WhatsApp web client.
Note: Your phone needs to stay connected to the internet for our web client to work, and please make sure to install the latest version of WhatsApp on your phone.

Currently there are many limitations, out of which one is, Its not supported for iOS, alteast for now. They do have plan for it but the time is not yet decided.

The version of WhatsApp on which you will be able to scan the code, and supports this feature was still in the process of being rolled out, so it's possible you may have to wait a while to get your hands on this feature. If you are amongst the lucky few who've been able to get in, let us know your experience with WhatsApp Web so far via the comments.
