Lamborghini Smartphone Now Available Globally at 3.7 Lakhs
In our life we always wanted to have an expensive car, house, gadgets and many other things. Though we know that we can't afford it, but still we always a dream of such things. I always dream of having Lamborghini. Recently in CES 2015, Lamborghini launched smartphone and which is now available globally. Tonino Lamborghini Mobile, the luxury personal technologies manufacturer, today unveiled its latest high-end Android smartphone, the 88 Tauri.
The phone is sadly nothing to do with the sports car maker, but is the product of Lamborghini Mobile, a company set up by Tonino Lamborghini, the son of famous auto designer Ferruccio. It has now launched its highest-profile mobile device to date with the Tauri 88, a 5in 1080px smartphone featuring a gold-plated stainless steel body and a finish of hand-stitched leather.
The Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri is the type of smartphone that you won’t see everyday, and not because its ostentatious looks are somewhat of an acquired taste – it’s because the device costs around $6,000 USD which equals to around 3.7 lakhs.
The 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor is proven to be very fast (though we're now on Snapdragon 810), and the 3GB RAM is a healthy dose. The Android 4.4.4 KitKat based handset shoots with 20-megapixel photos from the rear camera and 8-megapixel snaps from the front shooter. We also get to see a 3,400mAh battery and 64GB of possible expandable memory on this dual-SIM device. As reports states, the phone went on sale today and will be sold in extremely limited quantity. There will be only 1947 pieces of 88 Tauri. The reason behind such number represents 1947 founding of Lamborghini.
After going through the specs and other details, the only good thing that the phone has is the leather finish at the back and gold-plated stainless steel surrounding this phone. If you speak about the specs, which really matters, you will get same and many other feature in other smartphones with lesser cost. Obviously, if you want to stand in a crowd with Lamborghini in your hand, all you have to do is to pay a huge amount.
