Access Facebook through your Mobile Without Internet

People like to stay connected to Facebook. No matter what but they like to check their account, stay connected to friend, updating their status, uploading their memorable moments using photos. But sometimes its not possible. Like, you dont have internet or the internet is not working. Your smartphone is not responding. There can be many reasons for it. But now you can access it without any internet (3G/Wi-Fi/GPRS) connection.

This service is "Fonetwish". Airtel launches the world’s first USSD-based Facebook® access service in India – Facebook by Fonetwish. The application has been developed using Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) technology. Technically, USSD is a protocol used by GSM telephones to communicate with the service providers. The best example for this would the balance inquiry system.

How to activate this service:

1. All you have to do is to type *325# (and “*fbk#” for non-qwerty mobile handsets) to access Facebook without subscribing to data plans.

Note: This service will cost you @ Rs.1/day.


2. It will then asks for the username and password.

3. After entering the correct credential, you will see an "Welcome to Facebook" screen with following attributes

• News Feed
• Update Status (Free)
• Post On Wall
• Friends Request
• Message
• Notification
• Account Settings

Select any of the above option by replying with the appropriate option number.

How to De-activate this service:

Just *325*22# from your mobile and the service will be deactivated. If not, call customer care.
