Adblock Plus For Internet Explorer Released
Adblock Plus, one of the most popular add-on for Firefox and Google Chrome for blocking all annoying advertisement on the web has released a preview version for Internet Explorer. With the extension, you can block all annoying ads all over the web: remove video ads from Facebook and YouTube as well. It’ll work on all Internet Explorer versions (IE 7, 8, 9, and 10), except the Metro version of IE and on all 32bit and 64bit Windows systems (Windows XP through Windows 8).
Once you have installed the extension, you can enable it from the settings-> Manage Add-ons option. The extension comes with few options like the ability to selectively block ads on certain websites. You can configure this by clicking the icon on the status bar. In case status bar is not visible, select the file menu and select View-> Toolbars-> View Status bar.
For your information, Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer is still in development stage, so you might come across some issues while using it. It can be downloaded free from developer’s web site here.
