Sony Xperia M: Specification & Price
It seems like Samsung and Sony are in good competition in releasing new phone every week. Sony has announced two new members in its Xperia family in the form of Xperia M and Xperia M dual. Both these smartphones pack in similar specifications, with the Xperia M dual being a dual-SIM smartphone. Complementing the existing Sony Xperia Z, Xperia L and Xperia SP smartphone, the Sony Xperia M looks to be another entry-level model to the Xperia range.
Talking of specifications, both the Xperia M and the Xperia M dual has a 4-inch TFT FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and are powered by a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset clocked at 1GHz and paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
Xperia M comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with an Exmor RS sensor and HDR photography mode, VGA front snapper for video chats, expandable 4GB of internal storage. Sony Xperia M does offer a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 32GB for images and music. A 1750 mAh battery that the company claims will survive through 10 hours of talk time and 552 hours on the standby mode.
Internet connectivity features of the smartphone include 2G, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 , NFC and MicroUSB 2.0 (MHL). The smartphone also supports 3G technology which features HSDPA up to 21 Mbps and HSUPA up to 5.76 Mbps.
