Many people were having trouble using Windows 8. Users were having different problem related to it. There has been a lot of criticism about the new start and lot of features missing in the new OS. Therefore to figure this out, Microsoft came up with Windows 8.1. It covers all the latest and new features including the availability of start button.

At a conference, Microsoft has made available the preview bits of Windows 8.1. Users can now download and install the new version. You can either upgrade from Windows 8 or use the ISO build to do a clean install.

You will need atleast 4GB of space to upgrade from the current Windows 8 installation.
Noe: In case you upgrade to Windows 8.1 preview, when the RTM is released, you will loose all your apps when you upgrade to final build.
