Apply Shortcut To Any Application In Windows:
Shortcuts keys plays an very important role while surfing or working your PC. It's a great way to speed up common Windows tasks. Sometimes you may find it a bit difficult to remember shortcuts at first, but as you use it it becomes easier. Some of the shortcuts are pre-defined. But what if you get the time to assign shortcuts to any of the application? Yes, Windows supports this feature using which you can assign your own shortcuts to any application you want.

Lets see how to assign shortcuts to any applications:
Here m assigning shortcut to a Excel file (blank). You can assign this to any application from the Start Menu or by using the application shortcuts, which can be anywhere in Your PC.
If you don't have or could not find the shortcut of your application (for which you will assigning a shortcut), create one.
1. Right click on the shortcut icon of the application Excel and select "Properties".
2. Then select the 'Shortcut' tab.
3. In the Shortcut tab you will see an option "Shortcut Key". By default its None.
4. Now, click on the Shortcut Key textbox and only press the character/letter you want to assign.
Note: You wont be able to delete the text 'None'. By default, its 'Ctrl + Alt', so simply press the number or letter you want to use for the shortcut, like 'E' (or the one of your choice).
Therefore, if you press only 'E', it will automatically become "Ctrl + Alt + E".
5. Click on OK and Apply.
This way every time you press Ctrl + Alt + E, a new excel sheet will open.
The best option will be use this shortcut to application like, Web browser, Games or the application you frequently use.
