Get Xperia Z's Battery Stamina Mode For Other Xperia Devices

One of the best thing that Xperia Z gave was the power management option called STAMINA Mode. This was something that helps you to extend your battery life. Its been said that it extends the standby time of your device by more than four times. With Battery STAMINA Mode turned on, the background activities of most applications are reduced when you turn off the screen.

Battery life is a very important factor for many consumers, and this is something Sony has been working hard to improve. Lot of the battery power on a smartphone or tablet is consumed by background activities in apps and games when the device is not in use. Now with the new Battery STAMINA Mode enabled, apps are not allowed to synchronise and check for notifications and incoming messages when the screen is off, something that normally consumes quite a lot of power while your phone is resting in your pocket.

When Battery STAMINA Mode is on, you will still receive phone calls, SMS text messages and MMS notifications at all times. The preinstalled Calendar app and Alarm notifications will also work as normal, while the LED will only illuminate to indicate low battery.

Bow you get this same feature for your other Xperia devices like Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP and Xperia L.

Battery STAMINA Mode is turned off by default, but you can easily turn it on in the Power management settings.

How to install:

Procedure:
Step 1. Download the Stamina Mode zip from here file and extract it. Then, transfer the contents to your Sony Xperia’s SD card.

Step 2. Now open the file manager (you can use Root Explorer) and locate the app folder.

Step 3. Copy the app folder and paste it to the sys/app directory.

Step 4. Find the bin folder and paste it to the sys/bin directory.

Step 5. Move the framework.jar file to the sys/framework directory.

After completing the above steps, reboot your device. Once the device reboots, you will find the Stamina Mode app in the App Drawer.

Note: Make a backup of your entire data before doing above steps.
