Easy Way To Manage Your Android Phone From Desktop

Many days back we have seen a post where running android based application and games on Windows was easy. Now a days there are hundreds of applications that are available online using which you can manage your android right from your desktop. We have already seen about the application BlueStack. Other such application is SnapPea. SnapPea is a new way to manage everything of Android from your Windows PC. SnapPea makes it dead simple to organize your phone’s contacts, music, pics, and video from the comfort of your desktop.

SnapPea also offers 100% free app downloads from 1Mobile and sideloading of APK app files. This can be a lifesaver for users with a slow or expensive mobile data plan. SnapPea is designed for Android users who’re tired of searching for their phone’s content scattered across various mobile apps and the web. Google Play, handset manufacturers, and cloud services all address pieces of the puzzle, but SnapPea brings it altogether in one program.

How this application works.

1. Download and install SnapPea on your PC.

2. Connect your android phone using the USB cable.

3. As soon as you connect your phone, you will receive a message stating "Do you want to use SnapPea to manage your phone?". See screenshot below. Press Yes.

4. You will see that your phone is getting connected.

5. You will be displayed a connection guide for your phone. Like in the screenshot below it is displaying the guide for my phone Motorola Defy.
Note: For some phone it will reinstall some drivers.
Also make sure that you have activated your USB Debugging mode, else it will give you an error.

6. Once verified it will display a window which will ask you to install SnapPea for android. Select Continue button.

7. As your phone is already connected to your PC it will directly install the SnapPea for Android.

8. Now your phone is connected to SnapPea. It will display a notice for allowing automatic backup for your Phone data for Contacts, Photos, Text message. If you want to backup (recommended) press the Yes button.

9. That's it now you are connected to SnapPea. It displays your phone image with your phone wallpaper as background. It looks so beautiful.

10. On the left side pane, you will see options like, Contacts, Messages, Apps, Music, Picture & Videos.

11. Near your phone image you will see 3 options; SD Card, Backup & Restore.

12. Clicking on backup will allow you to backup Contacts, Text messages and history.

So its all up to you. Just R&D all the features.

Things that you can do with SnapPea:

• It also allows you to install apps from 1Mobile and Google Play.
• Backup and restore the data whenever you want.
• Change the theme if you want.
• Add contacts in your phone via SnapPea Contacts.
• Read, send, delete messages using SnapPea.
• Install, uninstall apps also you can move apps to SD card, move apps to Phone.
• Set ringtones, import or delete any audio files
• Import pictures, delete, view as slideshow
• Import new videos, view or delete videos.
