Xiaomi has already sold 75,000 units of its smartphone exclusively on Flipkart. The resent sale was on 19th of August and all the 20,000 units were sold in 2.4 seconds. The phone was was on sale from 2PM. The procedure of flash sale of this smartphone on Flipkart is a little unique as when the customer adds the product to its cart it is marked as sold and customer can further complete the purchase formalities.
The company has already created a frenzy among users by the way its gets sold and also has limited units to buy for. But it is all justified. If you look at the specification, you will come to know why its been sold at such a huge hype with such a jaw dropping hardware and that too only for Rs, 13,999 only. But somehow this has created a new kind of business for sume people.

Many people are selling their own Xiaomi Mi3 at a bigger price. No doubt, they are making thier own profit by seeling this device. The device has been seen on
eBay and
OLX at price of Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 20,000, which is way much than the original price. Some are selling it at Rs. 14,000 and Rs. 16,000 also on OLX. And their are some dumb people who are even paying for this. I mean, come on what the hell are you doing? Yes, i just went on the ebay page to see it and they are willing to pay any amount to buy it.

Xiaomi Mi3 on sale at eBay.in |
Most of the ads show a sealed Xiaomi Mi 3 package from Flipkart, and the advertiser claims to have got their hands on two units. For them it is a business. They have extra piece and willing to make quick bucks. Now, there is nothing wrong with that as anyone who wishes to sell his phone once he or she owns it, can do so. However, the question is would really pay 19k or even 16k for a relatively newer Chinese brand?

Xiaomi Mi3 on sale at OLX.in |
Manu Jain, India's head of operations for Xiaomi, told The Economic Times, "The company is requesting these sites to try to take down such ads, but admitted that it would not be able to do anything legally to stop people from reselling the phone. We can't legally stop them from selling it (Mi 3) after buying, but we're working with Flipkart to put some checks and balances in place."
So guys beware when you buy it from
eBay or
OLX. It is something like buy at your own risk. Because they wont be providing you all the guarantee that you will get from Flipkart. Do let me know your feedback on this in the comment section.
Cheers!!!
