God Mode - Hidden Feature Of Windows!! But Is It Really Hidden???
We always like to play with our Windows OS. And as the OS are upgrading sometime it becomes more difficult to find files in your Win 7 or 8. Also it has a hidden functionality due to which you have limited access to your files and folders. In short, you yourself don't have the full control of your system.
This limitation sometimes is very irritating. Then i come to know about the hidden "God Mode" feature in Windows 7 and 8. Now what is this God Mode?
GodMode is a feature that was revealed by CNet's Microsoft Correspondent, Ina Fried. GodMode is a folder that brings together a long list of customization settings allowing you to change all your settings from one place. Its is very easy to use and access all your settings. If you are a person wholike to tweaks a lot, then this is something very interesting for you. GodMode has made it easy to access all options in one window. GodMode is a trick that works on Windows Vista, 7 and 8.
Just follow this simple stes to activate the "God Mode":
1. Right-click and create a new folder anywhere on your desktop.
2. Rename the folder from "New Folder" to this exact code;
3. The folder icon will change to the icon similar to Control Panel.
4. This folder will contain all the control options.
Inside this folder, you will see a whole bunch of control options.
Now lets explore the truth behind this "God Mode":
Do you really think, that there is something as God Mode? The answer to this is NO. The feature is not actually even called "God Mode" but "All Tasks". This feature is simply a shell folder which you can access it in a different ways.
Method 1:
open Explorer and type: - "shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" in the address bar and hit Enter.
Method 2:
Create a folder and name it anything and paste the code {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} as it is.
Method 3:
Type "regedit" in RUN and press Enter. It'll open Registry Editor. Now go to following key:
Or press "Ctrl+F" in Registry Editor and search for {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} string. It'll open the same key for you.
You will see that, this key have "All Tasks" as default value.
