Re-install Your Android Apps
Its the era of smartphones. Nowadays everyone has a smartphone. It was the time when java or symbian OS phones were the best in market. But now its only smartphones with Android. I have already posted many things related to Android in my blog. Today i am going to post something which is of more useful. We have often seen that, we do not stick to one phone. We like to upgrade or change our phone as the technology changes. In this we may lost all our apps that we downloaded or buyed. There are also chances that due to some reason we need to reset our phone or say we need to upgrade our phone to higher version. In this case, we lost our apps and the details. One we bought new phone or reset our phone, we forget which apps we used. But now u can reinstall all your apps back in your phone.
Not only your apps but you can easily take a backup of your Contacts, Messages, Photos, Calendar etc using using an android manager to restore later.
There are two easy ways to restore all your apps.
Re-installing from the Android Market:
1. Connect your android phone to Internet and open market on your phone.
2. Login to market with your registered Gmail id.
3. Go to android market library from your browser. Click on the "My Android App" link
Android market keeps a record of each and every app you have downloaded from the market in the library. Following is the screenshot of my Library.
4. For each application you will find the button as "INSTALLED". Don't worry even it shows installed you can still install the same on your phone.
5. Click on the "INSTALLED" button and a pop will occur like the one below.
6. Click on the "INSTALL" button and you will get a message "This app will be downloaded to your device shortly". The app will be installed in your phone automatically within a few seconds.
7. Follow the same steps to re-install all your installed apps back to your new/resetted phone. All the apps will be added to the queue and installed one by one.
Note: All your settings for the apps will be lost when you reinstalled it from the market. If you don't want your settings to be lost follow the step below.
Backup and restore apps using Titanium Backup.
