Enable Two-Step Verfication For Dropbox
We all are aware of how security is important to us, when it comes to online security. We are very much used to file hosting sites, mostly of uploading your personal data or photos or any important documents. Now a days cloud file hosting is playing important role. Similarly, security is one important aspect of any cloud storage or email accounts. We have already seen the best security for Gmail. It provides us with two-step security. This works as an extra layer for the security in which you login with your account password and then a code is sent to your registered mobile number using which you can login to your account.
One of the widely used Dropbox is also implementing two-step verification. Using which it will be sure that your dropbox account will be more secure.
Follow the steps below to enable two-step verification for Dropbox:

1. Login to your Dropbox account.
2. Click on your account and select "Settings" option.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Scroll down until you see "Account sign in" option.
5. There you will see the option "Two-step verification". By default its Disable. Click on Change link.
6. When you click on change link, a pop up will be displayed. Click on "Get Started" button.
7. Then to proceed you will have to enter your password. Enter your password and click on Next.
8. Then you can select either "Use Text Messages" or "Use a mobile app" depending whatever feasible to you.
9. Then select your country and enter your mobile number. Then click on Next.
10. As soon as you click on Next, a code will be sent to your mobile number, the one you used for register in step 8.
11. Enter the received code in the next window and click on Next. If you didn't received the code you can click on the "Didn't receive a code?" link.
12. Once your code is verified, you will be provided a emergency backup code to disable two-step verification, if you ever lost your phone. Using this code you can access your account directly. Click on "Enable two-step verification" button.
Note: Make sure you note down your emergency code somewhere safe. Or you can mail it to your accounts.
13. Then you will see a congrats windows saying that you have enable two-step verification!
