Google Introduces New Gmail Sign-In Page
How many Gmail accounts you have? How do you manage all your Gmail accounts while logging? I am having more than 5 Gmail accounts and it becomes very messy if you want to login. We have already gone through a post related to multiple Gmail Logins. Also sometimes we like to check our logins one by one. This is the case which always happens with me, that sometimes i forget my login id and sometimes i even forget that i have a login with this id. I know this must be the case with many of you.
So now, Gmail has launched its new Login page. The new Gmail sign-in page looks a lot cleaner, much like the new inbox theme Google introduced. Using this, users can easily select the account and quickly login without having to enter the email ID and password.
Google’s sign-in page can display a list of accounts that you’ve previously used with a specific browser. Using this you dont have to enter your login id and password everytime. This feature is browser specific and if you use the same browser for all the Gmail IDs, then this is pretty useful.
How this feature works:
1. Login to your account and make sure "Stay Signed in" checkbox is ticked.
2. Then go to this page and click the 'enable this feature' link.
3. It will take you to the Google account page where you need to click on "Remember this account" button.
4. It will take you to your Gmail Account Setting page, dont do anything there, just logout.
5. Once you logout, you will see that this feature has been activated for your account.
6. Now you can add more account by clicking on the "Add account" link.
7. Add your account details and click on the "Add account" button.
8. Each time you add your accounts you will have to follow setps 4, 5 and 6.
So that next time when you want to login to an account, you need to simply select the account with the details listed on the login screen.
To Delete any account:
1. If you want to delete any one of the account click on the Edit button.
2. You will find that in front of all the logins, a small 'x' is displayed. Click on it to delete tha account you want.
I think this is a very nice feature added by google.
