Backup Your Bookmarks In IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera
Bookmarking always plays an important role while using internet. We always bookmark those sites which are more important or the sites which we can use for later use or after updation. This way you can almost have 100's of bookmarks on different browsers. We also use different browsers as per our need. And obviously, we store different bookmarks on different browsers. But many times id does happen that due to some technical reasons we have to uninstall the browser and then reinstall. Many people does not know how to backup their bookmarks.
This post will tell you how to backup your bookmarks in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Opera. And the best part you do not need any tool to backup your bookmarks.
Backup Bookmarks in Internet Explorer:
1. Open your IE browser and click on File -> Import Export.
2. Next a popup will be displayed, select "Export to a file" and press the Next button.
3. Then select whatever you need to backup/export, preferably, select all three options and press the Next button.
4. Now select the folder that you want to export your favourites from. Actually, just select the Favourite folder, it includes all, and press the Next button.
5. Give the path where you want to export your Favourites, Feeds and Cookies and press the Export button.
6. After successfully export a popup window will appear saying that You have successfully exported the settinngs. Press the Finish button.
This way you can export your IE settings and later import the same.
Backup Bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox:
1. Open your Firefox browser and select Bookmarks -> Show all bookmarks.
2. A window with name Library will popup. Select and click on the Import and Export button -> Export Bookmarks to HTML.
3. Select the path where you want to save your bookmark and press the Save button.
The easiest way to backup your bookmarks.
Backup Bookmarks in Google Chrome:
1. Open your Chrome browser and click on the Setting icon. Select Bookmarks -> Bookmark Manager.
2. A pop window will be displayed, select and click on the Organize -> Exports bookmarks to HTML file..
3. Select the path where you want to save your bookmark and press the Save button.
Same steps can be followed for the Rockmelt browser.
Good Chrome is also done.

1. Open your Safari browser and click on File -> Export Bookmarks.
2. Select the path where you want to save your bookmark and press the Save button.
Backup Bookmarks in Opera:
1. Open your Opera browser and click on Bookmarks -> Manage bookmarks.
2. New window will popup, select and click on the File -> Export as HTML / Export Opera Bookmarks option.
3. Select the path where you want to save your bookmark and press the Save button.
Finally, done. This way you can keep all your bookmarks safe and can import it back whenever you want that too without using any external tool.
