Enable Two-Step Verification For iCloud

Google has already implemented 2-Step Verification for their users. Now this has became part pf many other services including, Dropbox. Now this has also been implemented by Apple. Apple is implementing this 2-Step verification for iCloud and Apple ID's. Twitter and Evernote are in process in implementing this. It works same as Google and Dropbox. Your Apple ID is connected to your iOS devices, iTunes and iCloud account. By enabling 2-Step Verification, it will provide more security if you lose your device.

How does it works:

• Users will have to log into the Apple ID site and set up two-step verification.

• Once this feature is activated, Apple will send a verification code to one of your devices. 

• You will have to enter the code whenever you want to make changes to sensitive data.

• During the set up process, users will also be given a recovery key as a fail-safe, which they will need to reset passwords in case a trusted device is out of reach.
