iPhone 5 With Dual SIM

We have talked a lot about latest phone and technology. All the smartphones, there latest features and many more. But one thing that we have forget is "Dual Sim". Many phones are available in the market with Dual Sim feature. Dual sim phones are very popular in youngsters. This phone dont have many features as compare to current smartphone era but has dual sim feature which is much more and also is less in price.

No high-end smartphones supports dual sim. This are very useful while travelling. You carry only one phone with two sim cards. Now one of the most popular phone iPhone also supports one sim card. What if you get Dual Sim feature in iPhone 5. Using which you can easily toggle between two sim cards whenever you want.

SIM+ is a new kickstarter project which is bringing dual SIM support for iPhone.

What is SIM+ and how it works:

SIM+, a quality case for the iPhone 5 that discreetly houses multiple SIM cards.

On the outside, the SIM+ looks like any other sleek and simple iPhone case.

• Black or white plastic casing that covers the sides and back of the iPhone5.
• A strip of aluminum with an anodized finish in black, red or silver houses the SIM cards.

On the inside, the case holds a dual SIM switcher.

• Two active SIM card slots that connect to the phone. The first slot fits Nano SIM cards (SIM-1); the other fits Micro SIM cards (SIM-2).
• One storage slot for a third SIM card.

• Any SIM card that your iPhone 5 accepts can be used with our SIM switcher - that means any carrier, any country, any network settings. 

Note: If your phone is locked to a specific carrier, you will only be able to use SIM cards from that carrier

• The software can be set to automatically switch to the second SIM card if the first one loses signal or at time intervals that you can designate.

How to set the timings:

1. Go to Settings > Phone > SIM Applications > Switch on Timed interval

2. Set this to ON.

3. Select either the SIM1 or SIM2

4. Enter how many minutes you want the selected SIM card to be active before automatically switching to the other SIM card.

Checking the active SIM card 

You can see the active phone number on the home screen of your iPhone. You can also see it within the SIM+ interface, which appears automatically in the Settings menu after you put the SIM+ case on your phone.

Benefits of SIM+:
