The Next Generation Wearable 3D Mouse

There are wireless keyboard and mouse are available in the market which are being used by many of us and others. If you think using keyboard and mouse was a past. Mycestro's new 3D mouse is the latest example of technology. Mycestro is a 3D mouse that fits on the index finger and allows you to control your computer with hand gestures and mouse functions. All you have to do is to strap this lightweight device on your forefinger and use it to move your on-screen cursor around. The strap is designed in way that it wont interfere when you are typing.

How does it works:

Mycestro uses a touch sensitive panel that the user interface with using their thumb. The touch sensitive panel is broken into segments that can be controlled through the application to increase or decrease the size of the button or eliminate it all together. Meaning, if you wanted, you could remove the middle button on the panel all together. There are a number of combinations that can be configured using the panel and sensors.
  • Mycestro is a 3-D mouse, which means it has the ability to track hand motion in 3-D space.
  • Mycestro is activated by your thumb. When you’re not touching the Mycestro, the cursor and cursor function pause until you begin to use it again.
  • The touch-sensitive panel initiates cursor movement. To use the Mycestro, simply touch anywhere on the panel. You can control the cursor position by moving your hand in the direction you want it to go. To make selections, release the touch panel and then tap it again on the left, middle or right button section.
  • Range: Mycestro has a range of up to 30 feet.
  • Wireless: Mycestro incorporates Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Protocol, making it compatible with Bluetooth Smart Ready devices like iPad®3 and newer iPad Mini, iPhone® 4S and newer, iPod Touch Gen5, Apple® MacBook® Air, Mac® mini and MacBook Pro, and any PC with a compatible BLE dongle. Android devices should be available by the end of the year.

Speaking in simple language, the device tracks the movement of your finger in three-dimensional space. You activate the cursor to move with your thumb, by touching any part of the device. Clicks are registered on three buttons by the side: left, middle and right. Scrolling and zooming is also done by the thumb.


This 3D mouse is chargeable via USB, and each full charge lasts a good 8 hours.

Device and platform supported:

Mycestro works with most latest-generation Apple products and on any PC with an additional dongle. Plans to incorporate it with Android devices are underway before a full-blown release, scheduled in Oct/Nov 2013.
